Prescott Rothschild Wuncler is the grandfather of Ed Wuncler I, who lived in the late 19th century. Wuncler once sailed to Wushung, China (he mistook it for Japan, not knowing or caring where he actually was). He watched local Buddhist monks playing a game with a red rubber ball. He brought the sport back to America as "Jap baseball", which allegedly became the sport of kickball.
