Robert Henry (Bobby) Adams (December 14, 1921 - February 13, 1997) was a third baseman/second baseman in Major League Baseball. From 1946 through 1959, he played for the Cincinnati Reds & Redlegs (1946-1955[start]), Chicago White Sox (1955[end]), Baltimore Orioles (1956) and Chicago Cubs (1957-1959). Adams batted and threw right handed. He was born in Tuolumne County, California. In a 14-season career, Adams posted a .269 batting average with 37 home runs and 303 RBI in 1281 games played. Bobby Adams died in Gig Harbor, Washington, at age 75.
