The "Unification" two-parter was released to rental outlets in feature-length form in February 1992 to coincide with the UK release of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country . A four-episode-per-tape release took place in the 1990s, exclusive to Blockbuster Video. This release did not take account of season divisions, and so the volume containing the last episodes of a season would sometimes also include the first episodes of the next.
