Kiera was born in 213 ABY, in the city of Coronet on Corellia to unknown parents, who disappeared mysteriously, leaving her up for adoption. Kiera, during her childhood and up until recently, was unaware that she was adopted. She was adopted and raised by Zak and Linda Varless, who were kind, loving, and supportive parents.
