Hildorin was the first speech of Men. As it was taught to them by the Hisildi-Elves it was, at its earliest stage, largely identical with Kwênya. All other mannish tongues are basically descendants of Hildorin though some took influences from alien languages such as Melkian, Orcish, Dragon-Speech and even Khuzdul.
