Famelix is a Linux-based operating system that has the main aim to create a user interface similar to the Microsoft Windows operating system while releasing their software using the open source GNU General Public License. It is currently under development by a team of volunteers and co-ordinated by David Emmerich Jourdain with version 2.1 (having a user interface similar to Windows Vista) currently in its release candidate stage .
