The Chief of Staff of the Federation Starfighter Corps is the highest-ranked position in the Federation Starfighter Corps. The position is always held by a Chief Force Marshal of the Starfighter Corps and answers only to the Federation President. The equivalent positions within Starfleet and the Marine Corps are the Commander-in-Chief of Starfleet and the Commandant of the Marine Corps. (Star Trek: Remington)
