DaqS, son of Kang (alternately Dax, son of Kang) was a Klingon male who was born in 2291. He was the first child of the noted Klingon warrior Kang and his wife Mara, and was named in honor of Kang's Trill friend Curzon Dax - who was named the godfather of DaqS. DaqS was murdered by the Albino in retaliation for the role that Kang had played in trying to bring the Albino to justice. The first born sons of Kor and Koloth were also killed by the Albino, and Captain Hikaru Sulu's daughter Demora Sulu became seriously ill due to the Albino's underhanded attacks.
