The Sudbury Cub Wolves were a junior team. They played in every Northern Ontario Junior Playoff from 1921 to 1938 except for 1933-34. In that season the Cub Wolves withdrew because they could not get player transfers authorised by the Ontario Hockey Association. The Cub Wolves won the Northern Ontario Junior title in 1925, 1932, 1922, 1935, and 1938. They won the Eastern Canada playoffs in 1932 and 1935. They lost the Memorial Cup final in 1931-32 but won the final in 1934-35.
