The I’taka were an ancient species that thrived in the galaxy for hundreds of millions of years. They took it upon themselves to teach other, younger species to use tools, grow crops and much more. They spread out from their home planet, Ta’meina into other worlds, establishing alliances with other advanced civilizations and colonizing other worlds. Dispute about how to raise the primitive races they encountered started a disastrous war that ended with the near extinction of their species. After that, the I’taka were so devastating that they refused to participate in war ever again. After millions of years and the younger races developed and conflict with each other, most I’taka left the galaxy in search of a haven.
