"Chattanooga Choo-Choo," the Academy Award-nominated song, was sung by a group of Whatnots on The Muppet Show in episode 210, until they were interrupted by an oncoming train. It was also performed as the closing number by the Muppets and the Teppums on The Jim Henson Hour in episode 101. An instrumental version of the song was used in "Elmo's World: Transportation" over a Tickle Me Land scene on a train. This music was later changed for the DVD release, Elmo's World: Elmo Wonders.
