The Kure City Massacre is a major conflict in the Midwayan Civil War. The conflict took part between protesters in the event took place at 10:00 AM, when around 30,000 civilians had gathered in protest over having the Midwayan Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (Midwayan SFSR) rule the Kure Atoll Province. When George Taketa, the Premier of the Midwayan SFSR, heard of this he was enraged. He is reported to have said:
