The Swordguard is a unique Executioner Sword from Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Despite its hulking size and damage, Swordguard is actually a more defensive weapon in nature. At high levels, Swordguard gives a very high bonus to defense. When combined with good armor, and possibly even auras such as Defiance, defense can be raised to more than effective levels.
