The ski battle droid, or simply ski droid, was a form of battle droid produced by the Trade Federation around 22 BBY to be used in arctic environments. It was designed to zip down mountains in order to incapacitate enemies with uncontrollable laughter. Only one such droid was ever seen in active duty, where it was seen sliding down the hill from Mount Merakan by Nym.
