Known Space is the term for the areas of the universe known to the civilizations of the Local Group. The Known Worlds is a term used to describe all of the discovered planets, inhabited or uninhabited, in the 3 galaxies, Milky Way Galaxy, Triangulum Galaxy, and Andromeda Galaxy, as well as other discovered planets in satellite galaxies such as those in the Magellanic Cloud Galaxy.
