The Shadow Ninja Clan (影一門 Kage Ichimon) was a Ninja clan headed by Murai. Murai,Ryu Hayabusa's mother's brother, was once a member of the Hayabusa Ninja, before he abandoned the Hayabusa Clan to start his own Ninja group. While Ryu was visiting his uncle and had a sparring match, Ayane, who acted as a messenger between the Shadow Clan and the Mugen Tenshin Ninja Clan, interrupted their meeting and reported the Hayabusa village was being attacked. After Murai's death during the Dark Dragon Blade Incident, the Shadow Ninja was dissolved.
