Getsumei ("the moonlit path") is the unique Discipline of the shunned Japanese bloodline of Kindred, the Burakumin. A supernatural extension of their traditional profession as preparers of the dead, it gives them power over the energies of decay that affect corpses, which they manipulate to various effects. The powers of Getsumei only work on normal, once-mortal corpses - they cannot be used on the bodies of vampires, or the corpses of animals or supernatural creatures.
