Mar Terrin is a monastery created by the Tolnedrans to appease the spirits of the slain people of Maragor. Garion and his companions are warned away from Mar Amon by a group of the monks. Belgarath makes a journey there looking for a copy of the Mallorean Gospels while Belgarion marches troops toward Rheon.
