Prior to Michael's exile to Soul Society, The Legendary Maidens originally served as the Honor Guard to the Tenshi God-King before they were completely annihilated by Lucifer. When The Legendary Maidens were reformed during the First Tougenkyou Reconstruction, the second incarnation served as the Honor Guard of Yuu Hoshiko.
