The Evil Plants first appeared in Dome of Doom. They were common garden crops, combined with dangerous animals, with the lettuces/cabbages being mixed with piranhas, the tomatoes mixed with hornets, and the pea plant mixed with a python. They died after being tricked by Courage into eating each other by coating them with the scent of Eustace's socks, the scent being an intoxicant for the plants.
