Junyan Hongbo was a Solarian citizen and bureaucrat. He served as Vice Commissioner at the Frontier Security administration for the Madras Sector in the 1920s PD. Bribed by the Mesan Alignment, Hongbo was blackmailed to manuever Admiral Josef Byng and Fleet Admiral Sandra Crandall of the Solarian League Navy into confrontations with the Star Empire of Manticore in the Talbott Quadrant.
