Gas turrets were used in Research Station EB-103. Gas turrets in the sublevel were activated automatically when zerglings entered the room. Sarah Kerrigan had them destroyed to open the containment door. Commander Jim Raynor later suggested using them on Terran Dominion forces blocking the way to the tram station.
