Details: Tony Marabella was a minor league baseball player whose career had stalled out. One day during batting practice, he suffered a terrible headache and collapsed on the field. He claimed to have developed amnesia afterwards, forgetting he was a ballplayer, his girlfriend, and even his own name. He claimed, however, that it improved his play and the case suggested that it could cause him to make the major leagues. It focused on this aspect, including that he was playing the best ball of his career. Extra Notes: This case first aired on the April 12, 1996 episode. Results: Solved. Although the cause of Tony's amnesia remains a mystery, the effect on his play, if any, was temporary at best.
