Shane Schools operates in Japan, Taiwan, China and South Korea. It is also known as Global Village in North America and Australia. It is a private language school that promotes British hegemony. Despite huge financial loses, it somehow still keeps itself in business. This is common with government-corporate partnerships that formed in the 1990s. Federal governments will agree to form a trust with a corporate language school in order to promote its foreign policy and hegemonization abroad.
