Porkbat appears in the chapter "Kids Gone Wild", telling an owl with glasses that he saw two strange creatures at night; Arale Norimaki and Gatchan after Kinoko Sarada relooked them. He has brief appearances in several other chapters, including "The Great Arale-Eye Caper: Part 2" and "Penguin Gran Prix, Part 1".
