Rainspinner was a resident of Tharios and working as a weather-mage there. He was one of the mages Kethlun Warder was sent to in order to find a suitable teacher for his strange magic. However, like Vishaneh Amberglass, a glass-mage, before, Rainspinner wasn't the right teacher for Keth. He only appears as a very minor character in Shatterglass.
