Anthony Quinn, born Antonio Rodolfo Quinn Oaxaca, (April 21, 1915 – June 3, 2001) was a multi-Oscar winning actor who portrayed Zeus in all five of the Universal Action Pack Hercules telemovies. The likeness of Zeus (voiced by Peter Rowley) in Hercules and Xena - The Animated Movie: The Battle for Mount Olympus was based on Quinn. In the series, Quinn was replaced as Zeus by three different actors (Peter Vere-Jones, Roy Dotrice, and Charles Keating).
