The Mission to Tatooine was a mission in 0 BBY led by forces of the Galactic Empire to find the missing Death Star plans stolen by forces of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The droids C-3PO and R2-D2 were in custody of the plans and fled to Tatooine. Emperor Palpatine had sent his new apprentice, Galen Marek, to Tatooine to find the droids and retrieve the plans.
