Around thirty days after Emergence Day, Andrade was part of the effort to defend the city of Halvo Bay from a huge Locust assault. He helped defend the Halvo Bay Military Academy, but was killed when an Emergence Hole opened up and he fell in. Andrade's COG Tag was later recovered by Cdt. Sofia Hendrik of Kilo Squad.
