The Castle Borgov residents used to be the Borgovs for a long time, but in time many of them died or left the castle and the valley. The last Borgov who lived there joined up with the Cult of the Dark One and became their leader. Most of the cult members are dead but the Borgov is still alive and hiding somewhere in the Dark One's Cave.
