The Rheinmetall Adler Gunship - known as the Assault Bird - was the choice gunship before The War. A few escaped destruction, and were refurbished and reentered service with the Knights of the Black Cross. The Black Cross have at least seven of these vehicles: Two were present at the military base where the organization originated, another two were captured at what is now Kronstadt, and at least three were captured at what is now Kreuzburg.
