Kalina Ventress was a fellow member of a Nightsisters clan that was led by Mother Daka. Kalina was also the Grandmother of Asajj Ventress. Along with Kalina and Daka, the other clan members were Mother Talzin, Luce, and a few others. When Daka was killed, Kalina took her body back to the village for her burial.
