Matsu Shigeru was a bushi of the Lion Clan. In 1166 Shigeru ordered his cousin Matsu Masanori, and his troops to kill several Crane patrols near Kosaten Shiro. Shigeru was a bloodspeaker who had followed the Iuchiban's orders to strike out the Empire in a wave of murder, betrayal, and destruction. Shigeru and his eight hundred men made a suicide attack to the castle.
