Yeln Arvam was a male Bajoran who lived in the 24th century. In 2361, Yeln was being detained in the Elemspur Cardassian detention facility with Alu and Bakka. Yeln was beaten to death by a Cardassian soldier soon after Kira Nerys was placed in his cell. In 2369, the Bajoran Militia discovered Yeln's body in one of the mass graves near Elemspur and took DNA samples from it. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry)
