The Balosians were a minor race in the League of Non-Aligned Worlds, native to Balos. Balosians can be distinguished by their elongated, almost cone-like skulls that gently curve backwards. Several Balosians worked for Ock as dancers and waitresses in the Dark Star nightclub on Babylon 5. Prior their extinction, the Markab had special treaties with the Balosians. Sometime during the Dilgar War, their race was conquered by the Dilgar Empire. During this period, violent experiments were performed on a portion of their population until EarthForce helped to liberate their homeworld.
