Bleach: Original Genesis is a storyline written by writer Phantombeast, showing the beginnings of a young Soul named Takashi Masamune who was killed by a mysterious light at a very young and is now another person living in the Soul Society. He is investigated by a secret covert-group only known as Breaker Squad with their Leader Antan Kuroari, who offers the chance to help him find out what really killed him, if he joins their group and is turned into a Shinigami and is partnered up with Haruka Hikari to train him with everything needed to know about Shinigami abilities.
