Xak Merion was a Human male who served as the Grand Admiral of the resurgent Sith Empire's Imperial Navy during the Great Galactic War. A native of Dromund Kaas, Merion was appointed to the rank by the Dark Council. He was often at odds with his Army counterpart, Grand General Merillion Vir. The former Sun Guard was aggressive and used all-out frontal attacks when Merion was around, and thus the admiral falsely believed him to be not capable of higher tactical planning. His career as the Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy later until 3,671 BBY, when he was killed in action.
