In "Cirque Du Freak", a woman's hand is bitten off completely by the Wolf Man during the Cirque Du Freak show. Mr. Tall mends it, however, by sowing it back on. Darren sees later that, despite this, the woman decided to stay for the rest of the circus. In "Sons of Destiny", Darren goes back in time and sees this event again.
