The Durgasi Conflict was fought between the forces of the Durgasi Empire and the Black Star Confederacy. The initiative of the war moved back and forth, partially because the Confederacy was too involved in various other skirmishes to truly concentrate on the defeat of the Durgasi. The war finally ended in 15 ABY, when Emperor Durgaz XIV surrendered the remains of the Empire in exchange for a place in the Confederacy. It would take years before the former enemies were truly integrated into Confederate society.
