The Apophis-class Sub-Prowler is specialised UNSC ship for preforming infiltration and exfiltration. The Apophis is the successor to the older Black-Cat and Calypso vessels and is used by the Navy and by the Office of Naval Intelligence for low profile insertions. The ship is fully capable of preforming terrestrial landings, with landing pads and a bottom loading ramp, or sub-orbital insertions. It also has an all-purpose docking port.
