P'laang Ri was a Zabrak that lived during the Galactic Civil War. Ri owed the smuggler Han Solo a few favors, and Solo collected when he left the Millennium Falcon in Ri's hangar on Siskeen for safekeeping. Solo and fellow smuggler Avik Lore then took Ri's Zeta-class shuttle Arkanoid and went on a mission to Zoma Station to steal a shipment.
