St Anthony is a town located on the northern tip of the Great Northern Peninsula on the island of Newfoundland in Newfoundland and Labrador. The town had a population of 2,418 as of the 2011 Census. St Anthony is the site of the L'Anse aux Meadows which was a Norse settlement from around the year 1000 AD, believed to be one of if not the first European settlement in the Americas
