The January 2009 update was published by Wizards of the Coast to revise a number of rulebooks and the Dungeon Master's Screen. It was the fourth update to the 4th edition rulebooks, and is also known as version 4 of the update document. The update was published on January 20, 2009, and each document included the revisions from the prior three updates.
