CO: 1st Lieutenant Joseph Smart, USMC XO: SPARTAN-C123 First Sergeant: SPARTAN-C049 Dog Platoon is a platoon of Charlie Company of the SPARTAN-IV Program. Dog Platoon is known for it's cold and efficient trackers, making up one of the best Recon squads in the stealth-focused Company. These teams are usually backed by a Sniper Team from the Platoon to pick off anyone that spots them. Due to this, Joseph Smart of the UNSC was hand-picked to lead the Platoon for his skill as a veteran sniper.
