Yūgo gathers Terriermon, Palmon, and Hagurumon after Aiba obtains the Digimon Capture, and asks the new Hacker to choose one of the three Digimon. He then tells Aiba to scan the Digimon they have chosen. However, a Chrysalimon shows up and attacks the three Digimon, scaring them away. If Aiba has chosen Hagurumon, they will find it cornered by the Chrysalimon. Aiba tries to prevent Chrysalimon from attacking Hagurumon, who in turn decides to protect the teen, and fights Chrysalimon with [[Machinedramon ()|Machinedramon]]'s help. Yūgo notes how rare it is for a Hacker to obtain a Digimon without scanning it, and calls A
