After saving New York City from Gozer five years before, the Ghostbusters were sued by numerous city and state agencies for the property damage at 55 Central Park West. But the discovery of a massive river of ectoplasm and a resurgence of spectral activity allows the staff of Ghostbusters to revive their business.
