Courtney Anne Kupets was born on July 27, 1986 in Bedford, Texas, USA. Kupets was a member of the 2004 USA Olympic team where she won a silver medal in the women's artistic gymnastics team and a bronze medal in the uneven bars event. Kupets attended the University of Georgia where she competed on their gymnastics team where she won nine individual NCAA titles.
