Jimmy "The Gent" Conway is the true main antagonist in the 1990 film Goodfellas, directed by Martin Scorsese. He was based on the real life mobster, the late Jimmy Burke. He was portrayed by Robert De Niro, who is known for other gangster roles such as a young Vito Corleone in The Godfather Part II and Al Capone in The Untouchables.
