The Confederate Vanguards were specialized units within the Confederate Armed Forces in the Confederation of Free Planets who were seen in the front of an advancing force, and were also used as elite bodyguards or police officers. These units were cyborgs, except for a few. Many were also seen working along Confederate Royal Guards. They were later used after the CFP was turned into the New Galactic Empire, and were stationed at the Jedi Temple.
