The name of the valley likely comes from the mage who built his tower there although some believe it is named after another mage who built a lab below ground. The NPCs, Hunting Grounds, and Quests that are in the Mad Mage Valley are also considered part of the Kazordoon area, as it is the nearest town, but not everything in the town is a part of the valley.
